   Arsenii Shmelev
Arsenii is an MSc student in the Faculty of Data and Decision Sciences at the Technion. He is the recipient of the Avraham Mehrez Award for Graduate Student Research and the ORSIS 2025 Best Paper Award for his work titled “The Power of Letting Go: Scheduling with Immediate and Delayed Rejections in Multi-Server Queues.” Arsenii holds a strong mathematical background from Moscow State University and brings industry experience from his work in medical consulting at Philips. He enjoys tackling real-world problems, as well as playing the guitar, traveling, and meeting new people.

 

   Noa-Fani Likvornik

Noa is an MSc student at the Faculty of Data and Decision Sciences at the Technion. She completed her bachelor’s degree with honors at our faculty. She works as a contract manager at Rafael, where she is responsible for the operational and financial aspects of several projects. Additionally, she serves as a teaching assistant in core Industrial Engineering and Management courses at the Technion. Her interests focus on project management and the continuous improvement of operational processes and supply chains.

   Junyang Cai 

Junyang is a PhD student in the Faculty of Data and Decision Sciences at the Technion. He is the winner of the 2025 Doctoral Student Forum of Antai College of Economics and Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University for his work titled “Expanding Naloxone Accessibility: A Lifesaver or a Risky Setback?” He earned his Master of Management degree from Shanghai University in 2024. Junyang’s research interests focus on operations research and operations management, with particular emphasis on applications in the healthcare sector.

     Or Cohen

Or is an MSc student in Data Science. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science from the Technion. She is deeply passionate about machine learning and queuing theory, particularly their applications in optimizing healthcare systems. Her interests include developing intelligent algorithms to enhance the quality of care and improve patient outcomes.
